About the Austintown Growth Foundation

AGF Resolutions

Who We Are

The Austintown Growth Foundation (AGF) is a community supported, nonprofit development association. We foster a welcoming environment for all stakeholders by promoting community activities and addressing municipal affairs. The AGF was founded in 1987 by a group of township trustees and members of the board of education. After a series of public forum meetings, organizers launched the Foundation as a cross-jurisdictional instrument to deal with concerns such as regional planning, transportation and development, zoning, and community image. The AGF aspires to become the Mahoning Valley’s most influential community-oriented leadership/focus group.

The AGF is managed by a diverse membership through its Executive Committee of officers. There are no paid staff. Members are organized in five standing committees: Legislature, Membership, Township & Community Affairs, Image, and Ways & Means. The Foundation meets the first Monday of each month.
